Virtual Panel Discussion: Charting Economic Recovery to Integrate Green Finance
The British High Commission in association with the Cyprus –UK Business Association, ICAEW and WWF- Greece is organizing a Virtual Panel Discussion on Tuesday 9 February at 16.30 – 18.00.
The theme is Charting Economic Recovery To Integrate Green Financing: The Role Of Government, Financial Services And Funding Institutions. The discussion will focus on what does the day after COVID-19 looks like? What forms will economic recovery take? Do we resume our ways of living and working that have pushed the earth’s resources to its limits – how do we recover the economy in a way, which is within the limits of sustainability? Can recovery packages and measures reset the global economy to address climate change or will we resume existing practices which destroy our environment? Can we turn this crisis into a positive opportunity that will benefit us and generations to come?
