Workshop on Smart Energy Management Systems
FOSS Research Centre for Sustainable Energy of the University of Cyprus (UCY) is organizing the Smart Energy Management System Workshop, on Tuesday, the 27th of September 2022, at 13:00-17:15, at the new library building of the UCY.
The workshop will include presentations from Experts from the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) and UCY on the transition towards smart grids, the Cyprus SCADA system and the energy management system at the UCY.
The workshop will also introduce the new Erasmus+ program funded by the EC, "Joint undergAduate coUrses for smart eNergy managemenT sYstem (JAUNTY)". The project has partners from Bulgaria, Greece and Cyprus: TUS, Technical University of Sofia (Bulgaria), K3Y Ltd (Bulgaria), University of Western Macedonia (Greece), Hellenic International University (Greece) and University of Cyprus (UCY).
The project focuses on Smart Energy Management Systems (SEMS), a hot issue for consumers, energy producers, energy retailers, distributors, service providers and ICT stakeholders.
