Process Safety Engineer
Hyperion is looking for building a team of Process Safety Engineers in our Nicosia, Cyprus office for providing services to the Oil, Gas & Chemicals Industry.

Our people have been an instrumental part of Hyperion's continuing 30-year success in providing engineering advisory and consulting services and implementing advanced industrial IT solutions for the Global Process Industries.
The Role:
Our team will be involved with specialist Safety Lifecycle Services (SLS) teams to support Process Safety Studies (e.g. Hazard & Operability Studies - HAZOP) for various types of study sizes and complexities.

Impact:
- Assist the Study Leader in planning and administrative duties.
- Carry out preparation for the Study as required.
- Attend training sessions on the relevant recoding software
- Attend the Safety Studies, recording in writing the significant results of discussions that occur, this record is projected for the study team to view.
- Interface with the Study Leader and the Study Team (both inside and outside of the Safety Study) to ensure prompt and appropriate closure of parking lot actions
- Support the preparation of Study Reports as per corporate and client requirements.
Qualifications:
- Interest in Process Safety Engineering in High Hazard Oil, Gas & Chemicals Industry.
- Minimum of BEng (Hons), MEng is preferred in Chemical or Process Engineering.
- A minimum of 1 year high level experience in the Oil, Gas & Chemical Industry.
- Energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated candidate.
- Excellent communication, writing & IT skills
- Fluent in English
Travel Requirements:
There may be some travelling.
