Required qualifications and experience:
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all activities meet internal company standards and external regulatory requirements regarding Health, Safety, and Environment, and ensure full compliance with the company's obligations and policies in these areas.
- Develop H&S Plans/Files.
- Manage H&S on construction sites.
- Provide adequate H&S consultation to clients.
- Conduct risk assessments and monitor the implementation of proposed preventative measures.
- Supervise and conduct site inspections to ensure proper implementation of policies and procedures.
- Record and investigate accidents/incidents.
- Participate in safety meetings.
- Prepare safety method statements and task risk assessments.
- Provide personnel training on H&S aspects.
- Prepare and present H&S reports to senior management.
- Inspect machinery, lifting equipment, scaffolds, etc., to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Establish and maintain accurate records of H&S and training.
Requirements:
a) University degree in Engineering.
b) Membership in the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK).
c) At least 2 years of relevant experience in H&S.
d) H&S certification (e.g., NEBOSH IGC) will be considered an advantage.
e) Hands-on with good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
f) Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
g) Excellent command of English and Greek languages.
h) Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
Remuneration:
A competitive renumeration package will be offered to the successful candidate, according to qualifications and experience.
